Michael has public and private accounting and consulting experience in a wide variety of industries, including a significant focus in medical, nonprofit, governmental, construction, gaming, distribution, and retail. He also oversees small business services and internal audit services. He has assisted clients in Sarbanes-Oxley readiness and compliance engagements, facilitated controlled documentation workshops, and assisted clients with managing and implementing internal controls. Michael has also supported companies with solving accounting issues related to payroll, payroll taxes, and sales and gross receipt tax.

  • Perspectives from a Construction Company and a CPA-CFMA Captive Insurance

    On September 28th, 2023, CRI Partner Michael White spoke at the Captive Insurance Panel Discussion-Perspectives from a Construction Company and a CPA in El Paso, TX. Michael participated as one of three panelists in a one-hour discussion on risk management & insurance best practices for the construction industry to members of the EL Paso chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association.

  • Construction Subcontractor Training Program

    On July 19th, 2023, CRI Partner Michael White presented at Construction Subcontractor Training Program for the University of Texas and SUNDT Construction Company in El Paso, Tx. The program's main focus was the UTEP ATLC Construction Project, with topics such as "Managing Cash Flow/Construction Accounting" and "Effectively Managing Your Business" included.

    On November 11th, 2022, CRI Partner Michael White presented Construction Accounting at the US DOT Bonding & Business Capacity Building Program, and examined the cash flow within the construction industry and business planning for construction business owners/managers.
