Tim Sims

Tim is a partner at CRI Capin Crouse Advisors, LLC & Capin Crouse, LLC, where he brings over 30 years of public accounting experience, with a strong focus on serving nonprofit organizations. He specializes in providing attest and consulting services to exempt entities, including international organizations, media ministries, and higher education institutions. In addition to his extensive nonprofit expertise, Tim also has a robust background in serving for-profit clients across the construction, real estate, manufacturing, and technology sectors, and has advised many clients on matters related to employee benefit plans.

Before joining CapinCrouse, Tim held positions at Grant Thornton—including a two-year international assignment in Cape Town, South Africa—and Forvis Mazars in Colorado Springs.
