John Stroemer

John Stroemer is the Founder and Managing Partner of Stroemer & Company. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Florida. John is also certified in Florida Sales and Use Tax and Community Associations Manager. John graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. After college, John began his career working for a Big Eight firm. Subsequently, John relocated to Southwest Florida and opened his own firm. Since then, John has built one of the larger full service firms in Florida servicing the CIRA industry.

John is an industry leader in the Developer industry and performs professional services for Developers throughout Florida and in other states. John has extensive industry experience and concentrates his practice in the areas of private and semi-private country clubs, golf and tennis facilities, restaurants, marinas, condominiums (including high rises), homeowner and master associations, time-shares, property management companies, construction, and general contractors.

John has presented at many workshops geared towards Association Accounting, Tax, and Auditing*. Topics have included Auditing and Accounting Updates, Budgets and Reserves, Fraud, Bad Debt/Foreclosure, Tax Compliance, Statutory Requirements, Developer Issues and Financial Disclosures. John has also been a presenter at the FICPA’s State CIRA conference and Community Association Institute conference.
