Kristine M. Sparks

Kristine is a CPA and has over 20 years in public accounting experience. She has been with CRI since 2019 with previous Big Four experience (EY). Kristine provides assurance and consulting services to local and national non-profit entities. She oversees the entire assurance team within her office and regularly collaborates with CRI staff in other offices. Her work experience has given her an in-depth knowledge of financial statements and obstacles that not-for-profits face in financial reporting. Kristine is a Single Audit* specialist for the firm. She takes a very hands-on approach during each engagement and believes that partnering with her clients involves building strong relationships and mutual respect. She spends the majority of her time throughout the year meeting the needs of her nonprofit clients helping them navigate their specific accounting concerns such as donor-restricted funds, evaluation of in-kind contributions, multi-location operations, and single audit needs.

Kristine has worked for publicly traded and private companies and has served on several boards so she understand being on the other side of the audit and the challenges that organizations face with limited resources and ever-growing needs. She enjoys working with nonprofits to help find solutions to these challenges.
