Ted serves as the Professional Practice Leader-Tax of CRI Capin Crouse Advisors, LLC & Capin Crouse, LLC, advising exempt organizations of all sizes on a broad range of tax and operational matters, including regulatory compliance, audit support, and strategic counsel. He has deep expertise in charitable gift planning, including the design and administration of charitable remainder trusts, lead trusts, gift annuities, and other planned giving vehicles. Ted also frequently guides clients through the formation and governance of private foundations and donor-advised funds.
A respected voice in the nonprofit space, Ted is a frequent speaker at national conferences such as AICPA ENGAGE, Missio Nexus, and the Outcomes Conference. He serves as a Senior Editorial Advisor for Church Law & Tax and is an active member of the Missio Nexus Mission Finance and Administration Planning Committee. Ted is also a past member of the AICPA Trust, Estate, and Gift Technical Resource Panel.
